1 pre-made pizza dough
3/4 cup pre-made alfredo sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
12 pieces asparagus, cleaned, trimmed to 6 inches and blanched
12 pieces prosciutto
1/4 cup sliced green onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon tarragon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Dust a flat, parchment covered ,surface with corn meal. Place dough in center and form into a rectangle. Spread evenly with alfredo sauce and sprinkle evenly with garlic and green onion. Wrap each piece of asparagus with prosccuito and place on pizza .
  • Top with cheese and seasonings and place on a flat baking sheet.
  • Bake at 450°F about 18 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Serve hot.

1 pound asparagus spears
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic
1/2 cup spreadable garlic & herb cheese
3 (3-ounce) Naan breads
1/4 cup (about 1.5 ounces) coarsely chopped prosciutto
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450°F.
  • Wash asparagus thoroughly. Trim off tough stalk ends of asparagus. Shave spears into long, thin strips, using a vegetable peeler and starting just below the tip; set aside.
  • Fill saucepan with 2 inches water; cook over high heat until water comes to a boil. Add asparagus tips; cook 30-45 seconds or until tips are slightly softened. Drain; rinse with cold water. Set aside.
  • Melt Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt in 10-inch nonstick skillet. Add garlic; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes or until garlic begins to brown. Add spreadable cheese; stir until melted. Spread cheese mixture evenly over Naan breads. Place shaved asparagus over cheese mixture. Top with asparagus tips, prosciutto and Parmesan cheese.
  • Place pizzas directly onto oven rack. Bake 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust edges are golden brown.

9 ounces (about 1/2 bunch) asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch lengths
2 pounds frozen pizza dough, thawed
All-purpose flour, for work surface
8 ounces ricotta cheese
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced
2 large tomatoes, sliced
4 ounces oil-cured black olives, pitted and halved
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
4 large eggs
4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
Fresh basil, thinly sliced, for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat a pizza stone in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Prepare an ice bath. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add asparagus; cook until bright green and just tender, about 2 minutes. Transfer to ice bath to stop the cooking. Drain; set aside.
  • Divide dough into four pieces. On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece into a 7-inch round. Top rounds with ricotta, mozzarella, asparagus, tomatoes, and olives. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake until crust is golden and cheese has melted, 10 to 12 minutes. Break an egg into a bowl, and slide onto a pizza; repeat. Continue baking until eggs are set, about 4 minutes. Arrange prosciutto and basil over the top, and serve hot.

1 1/4 pounds thin asparagus spears, washed and dried
1 lemon, juiced
Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
1/4 pound thinly sliced prosciutto di Parma

Steps:

  • For asparagus, snap off tough ends of spears where they naturally give when bent. Place spears into 1-inch of boiling water. Cover the pan and cook asparagus for 3 or 4 minutes, until spears are just tender but remain bright green in color, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Drain and cold shock the spears in a colander under cool water. Return cooked asparagus to skillet and coat with lemon juice and a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil.
  • Remove bundles of several spears at a time from the pan and wrap with sliced prosciutto. Pile assembled bundles on a serving plate.

  • Trim 1/2 pound asparagus. Cut each stalk in half lengthwise, then crosswise into 2-inch pieces. Form 1 pound refrigerated pizza dough (at room temperature) into an 11-by-15-inch rectangle on an oiled piece of parchment. Top with the asparagus and 1 cup shredded fontina. Slide the crust (on the parchment) onto a preheated pizza stone or inverted baking sheet. Bake at 475˚ until the bottom is crisp, 12 minutes. Top with pesto and red pepper flakes.

16 spears fresh asparagus, trimmed
16 slices prosciutto

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, and coat with olive oil.
  • Wrap one slice of prosciutto around each asparagus spear, starting at the bottom, and spiraling up to the tip. Place the wrapped spears on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 5 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove, and shake the pan back and forth to roll the spears over. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes, or until asparagus is tender, and prosciutto is crisp. Serve immediately.
