PUFF PASTRY DANISHES
Even though they're simple to make, these jam-filled pastries are right at home in a holiday brunch spread. They were my dad's favorite, so the recipe will always be close to my heart. -Chellie Helmke, Jackson Center, Ohio

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425°. Beat first 4 ingredients until smooth; beat in 1 egg yolk., Mix water and remaining egg yolk. On a lightly floured surface, unfold each sheet of puff pastry; roll into a 12-in. square. Cut each into nine 4-in. squares; transfer to parchment-lined baking sheets., Top each square with 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture and 1 rounded teaspoon jam. Bring 2 opposite corners of pastry over filling, sealing with yolk mixture. Brush tops with remaining yolk mixture., Bake until golden brown, 14-16 minutes. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers.

APPLE PEAR CREAM CHEESE DROP DANISH
Our Apple Pear Cream Cheese Drop Danish rolls are ready in only 20 minutes. Serve warm with a sprinkling of cinnamon.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 450°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- In small bowl, stir cream cheese, 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon milk until smooth; set aside. In large bowl, stir Bisquick mix, 1/4 cup softened butter and 2 tablespoons sugar until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Stir in 2/3 cup milk until stiff dough forms.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Make a shallow well in center of each with fingers and back of spoon. Fill each well with about 1 teaspoon cream cheese mixture.
- Cut slices of apple and pear in half widthwise; fan 3 half-slices over top of each Danish (2 apple, 1 pear or vice-versa). Combine 1 tablespoon melted butter and the honey; lightly brush on fruit slices.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon; serve warm.

- Heat oven to 450°F. Lightly grease cookie sheet with shortening or cooking spray. In small bowl, mix filling ingredients until smooth; set aside.
- In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, butter and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar until crumbly. Stir in 2/3 cup milk until dough forms; beat with spoon 15 strokes.
- On cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. Make a shallow well in center of each with back of spoon; fill each with about 1 teaspoon filling.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, mix glaze ingredients until smooth and thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle glaze over warm Danish. Store covered in refrigerator.

APPLE DANISH WITH CRESCENT ROLL DOUGH
This super easy apple-cream cheese Danish recipe using crescent rolls and canned fried apples is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even dessert.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together; set aside.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and pat together on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Beat cream cheese, white sugar, and vanilla together until smooth. Spread over the dough. Layer the apple filling over the cream cheese layer. Top with second package of crescent roll dough, patting the seams together. Drizzle butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and bubbly, 40 to 45 minutes.
