2 cups plain fat-free yogurt
1/2 teaspoon fresh lime juice
2 1/2 cups cold water
3 tablespoons sugar
crushed ice, as required

Steps:

  • Blend the yogurt, sugar and cold water together in a blender.
  • Add the limejuice and apple to the lassi.
  • Blend again.
  • Put crushed ice in glasses.
  • Pour lassi over it and serve.

2 apples, peeled and diced
¼ cup water
1 lime, juiced
1 ½ teaspoons white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup all-purpose flour
⅓ cup white sugar
¼ cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons rolled oats
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch salt
¼ cup butter, cubed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine apples, water, lime juice, and 1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar in a pot over medium heat. Stir until well combined. Add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until apples are softened and water has evaporated, 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Combine flour, 1/3 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons oats, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Mix in butter until crumbles form.
  • Pour apple filling into a 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle crumble mixture over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown, about 25 minutes.

1 quart plain low-fat yogurt
6 -8 tablespoons sugar
4 large ice cubes
1 teaspoon ground cardamom

Steps:

  • Spoon the yogurt into a blender. Add 6 tbls. of the sugar to the yogurt. Add ice and cardamom and blend until the yogurt mixture is smooth and frothy. Add up to 2 more tbls. of sugar if you want a sweeter drink. Pour into tall galsses and serve cold. Enjoy!
