MASTER BAKING MIX (LOW FAT BISQUICK SUBSTITUTE)
I found this low fat baking mix recipe from www.recipesource.com imported from Meal Master and thought I'll share it with all of you. Nutritional Advantages: More protein, more calcium, no partially hydrogenated or hydrogenated fats. Increased fiber, folacin, potassium, phosphorous, copper, manganese, iron, magnesium, pantothenic acid, Vitamins, B1, B2, B6, zinc, B12, A, niacin.

Steps:
- Mix dry ingredients in food processor using a metal blade, or with an electric mixer.
- Slowly pour in the oil as the machine is running.
- Scrape the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.
- Mix thoroughly once again.
- Store in a covered container in the freezer.
- Makes 5 cups of mix.
- Use in recipes calling for Bisquick- type baking mix.

ALMOST HEALTHY BISQUICK SUBSTITUTE
This biscuit mix makes wonderful biscuits and is also high fiber and Omega 3 oils. I've tried several flour combinations for higher fiber and yet good texture and this is the best yet. I store it in the freezer since it has fats in it that are not stored at room temperature.

Steps:
- In a very large bowl stir dry ingredients together.
- Cut butter and margarine in to dry ingredients until it is the consistency of coarse corn meal.
- If your bowl is not big enough, take out some of the mixed dry ingredients before cutting in the butter and maargarine. Then stir back in after dune cutting inches.
- Store in a bag in the freezer.
- Milk or water can be used to make biscuits.
- Add just enough to make a moist dough that is not too wet to knead.
- Knead a few strokes on a floured surface and roll 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake 15-18 minutes ar 425 deg F.
- Enjoy!

BISQUICK SUBSTITUTE - SMALL PORTION
Easy substitute for Bisquick - need to store it in the refrigerator - but this makes only 1 cup, so you don't have lots left over to store.
