Almond Flour Waffles image

These almond flour waffles are fluffy and light, with a crispy exterior! Perfect for an easy low carb and keto breakfast!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/3 cup almond flour (* See notes)
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoon granulated sweetener of choice
4 large eggs (room temperature)
4 oz cream cheese (can use thick yogurt or sour cream ** See notes)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Steps:

  • In a high speed blender, add all your ingredients and blend together until combined and smooth. Transfer the batter into a bowl and let it sit for five minutes.
  • Heat up a waffle iron and coat in non-stick spray or butter. Once hot, pour 1/4 cup portions of the waffle batter. Cook the waffles until crispy on the edges and fluffy on the inside.
  • Repeat the process until all the waffles are cooked. Serve immediately or allow to cool completely, to refrigerate or freeze.

Almond flour waffles are a healthy replacement that is grain free, keto and paleo friendly. Fluffy and easy to make these waffles have a buttery flavor and great by themselves or topped with sugar free or regular maple syrup. At only 3g net carbs per waffle they fit perfectly into a low carb lifestyle.

1/2 cup blanched almond flour
2 tablespoon sweetener
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 large egg
3 tablespoon salted butter (unsalted is fine to swap with or coconut oil)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Pre heat waffle maker, melt butter
  • Combine all dry ingredients
  • Mix all wet ingredients with your cooled butter.
  • Combine dry and wet then mix until batter is smooth
  • Pour half the batter into waffle iron and cook until done. Recipe will make 2 waffles

1 teaspoon baking soda
4 eggs
¼ cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat waffle iron.
  • Combine almond flour, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, honey, and vanilla. Stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture. Grease preheated waffle iron with cooking spray.
  • Spoon batter onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden; serve hot.
