I had some left over coffee from my morning brew and decided to make another smoothie recipe. *Cooking time: is blending time.

12 ounces 1% low-fat milk
6 tablespoons malted chocolate drink mix
1/4 cup french vanilla non-dairy coffee creamer
8 ounces coffee (brewed)
1 cup ice (crushed)

Steps:

  • In a blender, blend on high: milk, drink mix, non-dairy creamer, coffee for about 2 minutes.
  • Add ice and blend until smooth about 5 minutes.
  • Serve immediately and Enjoy.

I have always loved the flavor of chocolate malt and the combination with orange/raspberry is just delightful. Yum!

1 cup 1% low-fat milk
1/2 cup Orange sherbet (softened)
1/2 cup red raspberries
4 tablespoons malted chocolate drink mix

Steps:

  • In blender add milk, sherbert, raspberries and chocolate malt powder.
  • Blend on high for 2-3 minutes or until there are no lumps.
  • Serve immediately. Enjoy!

100g raw, frozen, unsweetened açaí pulp, thawed
50g frozen pineapple
100g strawberry
1 medium banana
250ml mango or orange juice
1 tbsp agave nectar or honey

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in the blender or a food processor. Blend until smooth. If it's too thick add a bit more mango or orange juice. Serve in 2 tall glasses.

6-8 oz. plain or vanilla yogurt
1 1/2 Tbsp. honey

Steps:

  • Pour ingredients into blender. If desired, add oats or other ingredients. Cover and blend until smooth.

As a lark and a nice afternoon snack I decided to create this fruit smoothie as I wanted a non Caffeinated pick me up. *Note: No cooking time.

1/2 cup pineapple (fresh)
2 tablespoons non-dairy coffee creamer (low fat French vanilla)

  • In blender add strawberries, pineapple, non-dairy creamer and orange juice and blend until smooth.
  • Poor into frosted glass and enjoy!

Steps:

  • In blender ad orange juice, pineapple juice, milk, ice cream, sherbert and creamer and blend on hight for 2-3 minutes or until there are no lumps.
  • Makes 4 eight ounce servings or 2 sixteen ounce servings.
