1 pound lean ground beef
1 tbsp McCormick® Grill Mates® Montreal Steak Seasonin
1 tbsp French's® Classic Yellow Mustard
4 slices Cheddar cheese
4 hamburger rolls
1/2 cup French's® Crispy Fried Onions

Steps:

  • Mix ground beef, Seasoning and Mustard in medium bowl until well blended. Shape into 4 patties.
  • Grill over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until burgers are cooked through (internal temperature of 160ºF). Add cheese slices to burgers 1 minute before cooking is completed. Toast rolls on the grill, open-side down, about 30 seconds or until golden.
  • Top burgers with Crispy Fried Onions. Serve on toasted rolls with lettuce, tomato and additional Mustard, if desired.

A satisfying cross between a sausage roll and a beanburger, with a creamy texture and tangy flavour

2 x cans borlotti bean , drained
½ tsp dried thyme or rosemary
2 tsp hot chilli sauce
140g gruyère , grated
375g packet ready-rolled puff pastry
beaten egg or milk, to glaze

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to fan 180C/ conventional 200C/gas 6. In a large bowl, roughly mash the beans then stir in the herbs and chilli sauce, and most of the cheese (save a handful).
  • Open out the pastry on to a floured surface - you need a 30x40cm rectangle, so you may have to roll it out a bit further. Then cut into three strips, each 10x40cm.
  • Roll the bean mixture into long sausages and line down the centre of each piece of pastry. Dampen one long edge then roll up tightly to enclose the filling. Cut each length into four to give a total of 12 rolls.
  • Place join-side down on a nonstick baking sheet, brush with a little egg or milk and scatter over the reserved cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and lightly browned. The filling may ooze out a little, but if you leave them on the tray for 5 minutes while the cheese cools, any oozing will set, making the rolls easy to lift off. Eat warm, or leave to cool on a wire rack and serve later.

2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
1 small fresh poblano chile pepper, seeded and minced
1 fresh habanero pepper, seeded and minced
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon ground cumin

Steps:

  • Preheat grill for high heat.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the beef, garlic, jalapeno peppers, poblano pepper, habanero pepper, red pepper flakes, cilantro, and cumin. Form into burger patties.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate. Place burgers on grill, and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until well done.

This recipe comes from Paula's Party. I was watching her show the other night and saw her son Jamie make these. They looked so good that I wanted to share the recipe with everyone :) NOTE: I narrowed down the onions for our taste but original calls for 1/2 cup diced onions.

1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 cup white onion, diced
1 tablespoon steak seasoning (Montreal is recommended)
1 tablespoon A.1. Original Sauce (or whatever you use)
5 slices of american cheddar cheese (or whatever you like)
1 sheet frozen puff pastry
1 egg yolk (for a egg wash)
1 teaspoon water
flour
olive oil (if frying in pan)
ketchup
mustard

Steps:

  • Take out frozen puff pastry and let sit at room temperature for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix hamburger, diced onion,steak seasoning, steak sauce together until well blended.
  • Make into 5 patties
  • Grill or fry in frying pan using a little olive oil until burgers are medium well done.
  • On a flat surface place a little flour out and place the puff pastry sheet on top and slightly roll to flatten lightly.
  • Cut into 5 rectangles evenly, if possible.
  • Again roll each rectangle out to fix one burger on.
  • Place burgers on each rectangle and add a slice of cheese.
  • Cover burgers by bringing ends together to cover the burger completely.
  • Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Whisk together egg yolk and water.
  • Brush over the covered burgers.
  • Place in preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • For a Garnish: squeeze a little ketchup zig zagging over the burgers and squeeze a little mustard the opposite way. Enjoy!

1 loaf (1 pound) frozen pizza dough, thawed
20 slices pepperoni
8 ounces part-skim mozzarella cheese, cut into 20 cubes
1/4 cup butter
2 small garlic cloves, minced
Dash salt
Marinara sauce, warmed
Optional: Crushed red pepper flakes and grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Shape dough into 1-1/2-in. balls; flatten into 1/8-in. thick circles. Place 1 pepperoni slice and 1 cheese cube in center of each circle; wrap dough around pepperoni and cheese. Pinch edges to seal; shape into a ball. Repeat with remaining dough, cheese and pepperoni. Place seam side down on greased baking sheets; bake until light golden brown, 10-15 minutes. Cool slightly., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add garlic and salt, taking care not to brown butter or garlic; brush over puffs. Serve with marinara sauce; if desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and Parmesan., Freeze option: Cover and freeze unbaked pizza puffs on waxed paper-lined baking sheets until firm.
