WORLD CLASS COOKIES

Steps:

• Sift together dry ingredients.
• Cream butter and sugars.
• Add eggs and vanilla and stir together.
• Add dry ingredients to butter mixture gradually and mix until blended.
• Add chocolate chip.
• Roll in balls and roll in sugar. Criss cross with a fork.
• Bake 8 minutes @ 350 degrees (Will be just a little brown) Take out. DO NOT overbake or they will be too crunchy.
• Remove to a wire rack and let cool.

CLASSIC CHOCOLATE COOKIES

Steps:

• Beat 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar and 1 stick butter until fluffy, then beat in 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Whisk 1 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder; stir into the butter mixture. Chill 30 minutes, then roll into balls and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

WORLD CLASS PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

Steps:

• Cream together peanut butter and sugar.
• Add egg and baking soda and mix thoroughly.
• Roll into 1 inch balls and drop onto cookie sheet.
• Using the back of a spoon flatten in a cross-hatch pattern.
• (Wet spoon or dip in sugar to keep dough from sticking) Bake at 375 degrees for 12- 15 minutes.
