Steps:
- Add lime, lemon, and sugar (or other sweeteners) to a large pitcher (or use multiple pitchers if making a larger batch) and muddle with a muddler or gently crush with a wooden spoon for 45 seconds.
- Add apple brandy and muddle again to combine for 30 seconds. Add apple, nectarine, and strawberries and stir to incorporate. Then add wine and stir once more.
- Taste and adjust flavor as needed, adding more sweetener of choice for sweetness, lemon or lime juice for acidity, or fruit. Stir to combine.
- Add ice or frozen berries and stir once more to chill. Serve as is or with a bit more ice and mint (optional). To dilute the mixture, top off glasses with a bit of sparkling water (optional).
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours, though best when enjoyed within the first 1-2 days.

WHITE SANGRIA
This sangria takes five to 10 minutes to assemble in a large pitcher. Take the time to prepare it in the morning so the sangria has several hours to develop its fruity flavor. Pull it out when dinner is ready to serve that evening.

- Chop the peaches and apple into bite-sized pieces and add them to the bottom of a large pitcher. Sprinkle them with sugar and stir. Let them stand for 20 minutes at room temperature.
- After 20 minutes, pour in the white wine and brandy. Add the fresh mint and thinly sliced lemon rounds. Stir and refrigerate for 1 to 4 hours. (Don’t go beyond 4 hours or the fruit texture starts to degrade.)
- Pour the white sangria into ice-filled glasses and top with a splash of sparkling water (if desired). Add fruit to each glass, preferably on long skewers for easy snacking.

- Wash and slice the fruit to your liking. I recommend slicing the grapes in half, and other fruits into cubes or thin slices.
- Place all the fruit into a large bowl and cover with the sugar. Stir gently. Leave to macerate for at least five minutes, but longer if you have the time (overnight would be perfect). Stir again if needed until almost all of the sugar is dissolved.
- Add this entire mixture to a large pitcher filled 3/4 of the way with your white wine. Mix together gently with a wooden spoon.
