White Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars image

A cake mix and instant pudding make the base for these yummy peanut butter bars. For extra awesomeness, top with chopped white chocolate and cashews.

Ingredients

1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
1 pkg. (3.3 oz.) JELL-O White Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
1-1/2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S White Chocolate (6 oz.), broken into pieces, divided
1 cup PLANTERS Cashews, coarsely chopped, divided
1 cup creamy peanut butter

Steps:

Heat oven to 350ºF.
Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray. Beat first 4 ingredients with mixer until blended. (Dough will be thick.) Press half onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 10 min.
Sprinkle half each of the chopped chocolate and nuts over crust. Microwave peanut butter in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min., stirring after 30 sec.; spread over nuts on crust.
Roll remaining dough into 13x9-inch rectangle between 2 sheets of waxed paper. Peel back top layer of waxed paper; flip dough over dessert. Remove remaining waxed paper. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate and nuts; press gently into dough to secure.
Bake 15 min. or until lightly browned. Cool completely. Refrigerate several hours or until firm. Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting into bars.

In another medium bowl, melt the white chocolate according to package instructions. Pour half of the melted white chocolate into prepared baking dish. Spread out evenly with a rubber spatula. Spoon peanut butter mixture over top of the white chocolate layer. Gently spread the peanut butter layer over the white chocolate, creating some swirls as needed. Top with remaining melted white chocolate. Sprinkle Reese’s Pieces and peanut butter chips on top.
Allow to cool in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to set up. Lift parchment paper and bark out of the pan and break into pieces with a knife. Store bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
