Number Of Ingredients 11

2 tablespoons butter
1 onion (chopped)
2 teaspoons garlic (chopped)
8 ounces brie cheese (trimmed & cut into pieces)
8 ounces cream cheese
3/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper (to taste)
1 loaf bread (8-inch round)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Saute onion and garlic in butter until golden and set aside.
  • Put brie and cream cheese in microwave until soft. Mix in the onion & garlic and the rest of the ingredients. I pulsed this mixture in the food processor.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Hollow out the middle of the loaf and fill with the mixture. Wrap in foil and bake in oven until bubbly hot approximately 30 minutes.
  • Dust with paprika if desired.
  • Serve hot out of the oven with the cubed bread and crackers.

8 ounces butter
8 ounces brie cheese, with rind removed
1 baguette, sliced

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Microwave on HIGH for 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Microwave on HIGH for 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Repeat until all ingredients are melted and the texture is smooth.
  • Serve with baguette.

This dip is total decadence for artichoke or brie lovers! Served warm with party rye, sourdough bread or crackers, it is sure to be a hit! You can use marinated or water pack artichokes depending on your personal preference. I remove the rind from the Brie prior to use.

2 (6 ounce) jars artichokes, drained & chopped
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped fine
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (8 ounce) package brie cheese, cut in small pieces

Steps:

  • Combine artichokes, cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onion, oregano, salt, pepper & garlic until well blended.
  • Add Brie and mix well.
  • Put in 9" greased pie plate or baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  • Serve warm. Great with party rye, sourdough bread, or crackers.

1 cup sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
15 ounces brie cheese, softened and rind removed (or use containers of creme de Brie, if available)
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons brandy (optional) or 3 tablespoons cognac (optional)
1 1/2 cups chopped prosciutto (about 6 ounces)
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or cracked black pepper)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, cream cheese, brie, and Parmesan cheese; beat with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth.
  • Add brandy, prosciutto, green onion, and red pepper flakes, beating to combine.
  • Spoon into an 8-inch square baking dish for 15 to 20 minutes, until bubbly.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and serve warm with your favorite crackers or Melba toast rounds.
  • Note: This dip could easily be made and served in the crock pot.
