SPIKED ARNOLD PALMER

Steps:

• Gather the ingredients.
• In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the simple syrup and water. Add the lemon juice, straining it through a fine-mesh strainer if you want to remove the pulp and seeds.
• Shake well .
• Strain into a tall glass . You should have about 8 ounces of lemonade, enough for 3 or 4 spiked Arnold Palmers. Keep the excess covered in the refrigerator until needed.
• In a highball glass filled with ice, pour the vodka.
• Top with equal parts of iced tea and lemonade.
• Stir well .
• Garnish with a lemon wheel and mint sprig. Serve and enjoy.

THE ARNOLD PALMER

Steps:

• Combine lemonade and iced tea in a highball or tall glass. Add ice and stir until chilled.

SPIKED ARNOLD PALMERS

Steps:

• Put the tea bags in a large heatproof pitcher and pour in 5 cups boiling water. Let steep about 10 minutes. Discard the tea bags.
• Pour half of the tea into ice cube trays and freeze until firm, 3 hours. Refrigerate the rest.
• Make a simple syrup: Heat 1 cup water and the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.
• Stir 1 cup of the simple syrup, the lemon juice, 5 cups cold water and the vodka into the pitcher of chilled tea. Add the tea ice cubes.
• Pour the drink into glasses. Garnish with lemon slices and mint.

• Mix up a little concoction consisting of unsweetened tea and lemonade...a little half & half action. Just pour yourself a little tea, a little lemonade, and top it off with the Jeremiah Weed to your taste.
