TEN-MINUTE TUNA PIZZA

Tuna pizza in ten minutes - just buy the base, top, bake and eat

23cm thin-crust pizza base
1 tbsp tomato purée
1 garlic clove
handful pitted black olives
large handful cherry tomatoes , halved
1 tbsp olive oil , for drizzling
1 tbsp capers , drained
200g can tuna in brine, drained and flaked
handful of basil leaves

Steps:

Heat oven to 230C/fan 210C/gas 8. Spread the pizza base with tomato purée. Scatter over the garlic, olives, tomatoes and half the oil. Bake for 10 mins until the tomatoes start to colour and the base is crisp.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle over the capers, tuna and basil, drizzle with oil, then serve.

This recipe originally used canned crab meat, but is a great favorite with children in the "tuna" flavor! Not to mention more economical! My children like it so much, I double the recipe.

Ingredients

canned tuna
English muffin
mayonnaise
shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

Mix tuna with mayo to taste and spread on halved English muffins.
Top with cheddar cheese and put on a cookie sheet.
Broil for a few minutes until cheese is melted and muffins are a bit toasted.

Roll out the pizza dough. If you like thin crust, roll as thin as possible. When ready, transfer the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking parchment paper. Top it with half of the sauce, shredded cheese, tuna and sweetcorn.
Bake in the oven at 400° Fahrenheit (200° Celsius) for 10 minutes or until the bottom is nice and brown (see note 7).
