TEXAS CRABGRASS
I love spinach and crab meat, so when I saw this recipe I couldn't wait to try it! This combination makes for a wonderful appetizer and the presentation is lovely. Try it at your next party!

Steps:
- Cook spinach according to package directions; drain.
- Melt butter in skillet. Add chopped onion and cook until soft. Remove from heat.
- Add cooked, drained spinach, crabmeat, cheese. Mix well.
- Spoon into pastry cups, or serve with crackers.

This recipe came from MVC Cuisine Cookbook, (sponsored by Kohl's Dept. Store). It was originally submitted by a lady from Plano, Texas. This is sooooo good! I always take this to parties or gatherings and it is always a huge hit!

Steps:
- Slowly melt butter in heavy saucepan.
- Add onion and saute until soft.
- Add spinach to onion mixture.
- Add crab meat and cheese.
- Transfer to a chafing dish to keep warm
- Serve with tortilla chips or assorted crackers.

Steps:
- In a medium saucepan, place spinach with 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook approximately 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, slowly cook and stir onions in butter until tender.
- Place spinach, onion, crabmeat, Parmesan cheese and dry sherry in a small baking dish. Mix thoroughly. Bake in the preheated oven 15 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned.
