12 chicken drumsticks

Steps:

  • In a small bowl using wire whisk, blend steak sauce, ketchup and preserves until smooth.
  • Brush chicken with sauce.
  • Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes or until done.

A simple everyday recipe for baked chicken drumsticks. Simply coat them with a mixture of olive oil and spices, then bake!

8 (4 oz each) skin-on chicken drumsticks ((about 2 lb. total weight))
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon Diamond Crystal kosher salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with high-heat-resistant parchment paper and arrange the drumsticks in a single layer on the parchment.
  • Make the seasoning paste: In a medium bowl, use a fork or a spatula to mix the olive oil, salt, pepper, and spices.
  • Using a pastry brush or your hands, coat the chicken pieces with the seasoning paste.
  • Bake the drumsticks uncovered until their internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F, about 40 minutes.
  • Baste the drumsticks with the pan juices using a clean pastry brush. Serve immediately.

3 Tbsp honey
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp dried onion flakes
1 tsp turmeric for color

  • 2. In a small bowl combine orange juice, honey, jalapeno, turmeric, salt, onion.
  • 3. Pour over chicken.

2 to 3 teaspoons curry powder
1-1/4 teaspoons salt, divided
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (5 ounces each)
1-1/2 cups orange juice
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground mustard
Chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Combine curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and the pepper; rub over both sides of chicken. In a skillet, combine orange juice, rice, water, brown sugar, mustard and remaining salt. Add chicken pieces; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until chicken juices run clear, 20-25 minutes. , Remove from the heat and let stand, covered, until all liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.

1 kg chicken drumsticks
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp smoked paprika
2 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Tip the chicken drumsticks into a large bowl and pour in the oil. Season with lots of salt, then add all the remaining ingredients and toss well to coat.
  • Put the drumsticks into a large roasting tin, along with any oil and spices from the bowl, ensuring there is plenty of space around each drumstick.
  • Bake in the oven for 20 mins, then flip each drumstick and bake for a further 20-25 mins until cooked through and caramelised.
