½ cup strawberry, chopped
½ cup cream cheese
⅓ cup oil
2 eggs

Steps:

  • Combine cake mix, strawberries, oil, and eggs in a mixing bowl.
  • Add in cream cheese and lightly mix allowing the cream cheese to still be visible and not all the way mixed in.
  • Using an ice cream scoop or your hand, form golf ball-sized balls of cookie dough and transfer to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes.

1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ white cake mix
Water, vegetable oil and whole eggs called for on cake mix box
1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O™ strawberry-flavored gelatin
2 oz cream cheese, softened
2 teaspoons milk
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan; lightly flour. In large bowl, beat cake ingredients with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes. Pour into pan.
  • Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Run knife around sides of pan to loosen cake. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • In chilled large bowl, beat cream cheese and milk with electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Beat in whipping cream and powdered sugar on high speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until soft peaks form. Spread frosting over cake. Store covered in refrigerator.

1 1/4 cups half-and-half
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup strawberry syrup
1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
3 cups fresh whole strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup strawberry jam
2 tablespoons sugar
Lime peel twists

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Spray bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with baking spray with flour.
  • In large bowl, beat cake mix, half-and-half, oil and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes. Poke cake every inch with tines of meat fork or a table knife. Pour syrup slowly over cake, allowing syrup to fill holes in cake. Cool completely, about 35 minutes longer.
  • Spread whipped topping over cake. In medium bowl, gently mix strawberries, jam and sugar. Top each serving with strawberry mixture; garnish with lime peel twist. Store covered cake and strawberry mixture separately in refrigerator.

1 prepared angel food cake
1/4 cup smuckers sugarfree seedless strawberry jam
1 (8 ounce) fat-free cool whip
1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Slice a 1 inch thick layer off top of cake. Set aside.
  • Hollow out center of cake leaving 3/4 inch border on sides and 1 inch border on bottom.
  • Beat together jam and Cool Whip until fluffy (fold in strawberries, optional).
  • Spoon 3/4 mixture into hollowed cake. Replace top.
  • Frost top of cake with rest of Cool Whip. Chill.

1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted, divided

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla; mix well., In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; gradually stir into creamed mixture just until moistened. 16 oz good-quality white chocolate, finely chopped
¾ cup heavy cream
1 pound cake, store-bought
8 oz fresh strawberry , chopped
2 cups whipped cream
strawberry topping, for serving

Steps:

  • Make the ganache: In a medium bowl, combine the white chocolate and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each one, until the texture is silky and smooth.
  • Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Place the pound cake on a cutting board and slice lengthwise into 4 equally thick pieces.
  • Set the bottom piece of the cake down first on a small baking pan or serving platter.
  • Spread an even layer of white chocolate ganache over the cake, then sprinkle with a layer of strawberries. Repeat making with the next two pieces of pound cake. Place the final piece of pound cake on top of the last strawberry layer and cover it with an even layer of white chocolate ganache. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Remove the cake from the refrigerator and place it on the edge of a cutting board sitting at the edge of your work surface. Use a serrated knife to cut the cake diagonally, lengthwise, creating two, right-angled pieces of cake. Use the edge of the cutting board to help guide your knife.
  • Set the two right-angled pieces next to each other to form a triangle with the final layer of ganache and base cake piece at the center. Cover with whipped cream.
  • Serve with strawberry topping.
  • Pairs well with rosé.

3 whole fresh strawberries

Steps:

  • In a bowl, whisk the milk and water. Whisk in the pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set; fold in the whipped topping. 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
2 cups white sugar
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O®
1 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup strawberries, pureed
1 ½ cups heavy cream
2 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, sliced
½ cup margarine, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
4 cups confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ cups quartered strawberries

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour three 9 inch round cake pans.
  • In a large bowl, beat sugar, gelatin and butter until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Mix flour and baking powder, and beat alternately with the milk into the sugar mixture. Fold in 1 teaspoon vanilla and pureed strawberries. Divide equally into three 9 inch round cake pans.
  • Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pans, then remove from pans and cool completely.
  • To make the filling: Beat whipping cream, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla on high until stiff. Fill each layer with 1/3 of the whipped cream and 3/4 cup sliced strawberries.
  • To make the frosting: Beat the margarine, cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Spread over the sides of the cake, and pipe an edge of frosting around the top of the cake.
  • Spread remaining whipped cream on cake top. Top with quartered strawberries.
