Spicy Tuna Sandwich With Onions Recipes
SPICY TUNA FISH SANDWICH
This is similar to classic tuna fish salad but with a kick. My boyfriend made this when we were out of relish and decided to substitute with jalapenos. It was awesome! I added the relish back in to give it a sweetness along with the spiciness.

- Stir tuna, Cheddar cheese, diced jalapeno, mayonnaise, relish, lemon juice, and pepper together in a bowl. Spread tuna mixture on a slice of toast and top with remaining slice to make a sandwich.

- Heat panini grill sprayed with cooking spray.
- Combine tuna, celery and mayo and hot pepper sauce.
- Fill roll with tuna mixture and cheese.
- Grill 2 to 3 min. or until cheese is melted and outside of sandwich is golden brown.

- Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion; sauté 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar and thyme; cover and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- While onion cooks, combine flour, salt, garlic powder, and pepper in a shallow dish. Dredge fish in flour mixture. Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add fish; cook 3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
- Spread 1 teaspoon mustard over top half of each bun. Layer 1 lettuce leaf, 1 fish steak, 1 tomato slice, and 1/4 cup onion mixture on bottom half of each bun. Top with top halves of buns.
