3 (11 1/2 ounce) cans peach nectar
2 quarts brewed tea
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 large cinnamon stick

Steps:

  • Bring 2 cups of brewed tea,cinnamon sticks,lemon juice and sugar to a slow boil Stir.
  • Take off from burner.
  • Mix everything together in a drink pitcher.
  • Chill 1-2 hours.
  • Serve as is,or heat in a tea pot.

4 cups sweet tea (store-bought or homemade)
2 cups Peach Nectar, recipe follows
1 cup bourbon
4 lemon slices, for garnish
4 mint sprigs, for garnish
3 cups frozen peaches, thawed
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 to 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, optional

Steps:

  • Stir together the tea, Peach Nectar and bourbon in a pitcher filled with ice. Pour into iced tea glasses filled with ice and garnish with a lemon slice and mint sprig.
  • Combine the peaches, 2 cups water, lemon juice and sugar (if using) in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain the peach nectar through a fine-mesh strainer. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

This is a refreshing fruit tea. I brew the tea in in my 3 quart Mr Coffee Iced Tea Pot. Other fruits or juices can be used too. It will probably be good as a hot tea as well.

2 quarts brewed tea
1 (15 ounce) can cling peaches in juice
1 (15 ounce) can water
1/4 cup sugar (optional)

Steps:

  • Make the tea in a 3 or 4 quart pitcher (or iced tea pot). Set aside.
  • Pour peaches and water into a blender.
  • Blend on high speed until well blended.
  • Add sugar and blend for a few more seconds.
  • Add more water until there is 1 quart.
  • Blend for a few seconds-- pulse.
  • Pour this mixture into the pitcher of tea and stir until well mixed.
  • Chill before serving.
  • Serve over ice or warm up for a hot drink.

1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 inch piece cinnamon stick
3 tea bags
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • Combine water, cloves, and cinnamon stick in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
  • Place tea bags in spiced water, cover, and steep for ten minutes.
  • In another saucepan, combine sugar, orange juice, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil.
  • Strain tea into orange juice mixture.
  • Chill, serve over ice.
