Today is Fryday! Even if it's Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or even Friday. Every day is Fryday with these delicious treats. Delicious fried SPAM® Classic with a hint of sweet ginger sauce are sure to make your day, or your Friday.

1 (12-ounce) can SPAM® Classic
Peanut oil, for frying
HOUSE OF TSANG® General Tsao Stir Fry Sauce or Sriracha Ketchup, for dipping

Steps:

  • Heat about 4 inches of oil in a heavy pan or fryer to 350°F.
  • Cut the SPAM® Classic lengthwise into six slices.
  • Cut each slice into 4 thick matchsticks.
  • In small batches, place the fries in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crisp, or about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve the warm fries with dipping sauces.

1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup soda cracker crumbs

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Slice SPAM into 8 pieces; cut each slice in half lengthwise.
  • Beat together egg and milk.
  • Coat each SPAM slice with flour.
  • Dip in milk mixture and roll in cracker crumbs.
  • Place on baking sheet.
  • Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve with tartar sauce or ketchup.
