EASY SLOW COOKER SPAM SOUP RECIPE

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients except cheese and chips in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until heated through.
• Served with a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top and some tortilla chips on the side. Or break up the chips, and throw them right into the soup, then top with some cheese. Enjoy!

CHEDDAR, POTATO & SPAM® SOUP

Steps:

• Place the potatoes, carrots, onion and chicken stock into a large pan, bring to the boil, cover and simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
• Meanwhile in another pan melt the butter and add the flour, stir until smooth. Now gradually add the milk, bring to the boil and stir for a further 2 minutes or until thickened.
• Add to the potato mixture, stir in the cheese until melted. Now add the SPAM® and sweetcorn, heat through and season to taste.
• Serve with crusty bread.

SPAM® POTATO CHOWDER

Steps:

• In medium saucepan, sauté onion and celery in butter until tender.
• Add SPAM® Classic and cook, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes.
• Add broth, water, potatoes, caraway seeds, and pepper to saucepan.
• Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir in half-and-half and parsley; heat to serve.

SPAM & POTATO CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Slice potatoes into round slices, very thin.
• Chop onion and spam into small chunks and combine with potatoes. Salt and pepper these.
• Place potatoes & onions in a casserole dish.
• Mix Cheze-Whiz, soup, milk and Season All or Season Salt, in sauce pan and heat until chez-whiz is melted.
• Pour over the potatoes and spam.
• Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees, maybe longer until potatoes are tender.
