Tip: You can even eliminate the milk and serve the mixture as a sauce over almost any vegetable, Phyllis suggests.

1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

In a bowl, combine the sour cream, milk, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard and salt. Serve Immediately; refrigerate leftovers.

1 cup olive oil
5 tablespoons red wine vinegar
¼ cup sour cream
1 ½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon mustard powder
¼ cup white sugar
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pinch ground black pepper

Steps:

Whisk together the oil, vinegar, sour cream, salt, mustard, sugar, parsley, garlic and pepper. Refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving.

1 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp paprika
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 c sour cream, fat-free
1 dash(es) tabasco sauce, optional

Steps:

1. Stir together garlic salt, pepper, sugar, and paprika with lemon juice and vinegar until salt and sugar are dissolved.
2. Whisk in sour cream and tabasco sauce if using. Continue whisking until smooth.
3. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
