Shrimp Dumpling Alfredo with Peas image

1 pound frozen shrimp or seafood dumplings (16 to 20 pieces)
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup frozen peas
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 scallions, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Steam or microwave the dumplings as the label directs.
  • Bring the heavy cream to a boil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the dumplings and cook until the cream is slightly thickened, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the peas and cook until warmed through, about 1 minute. Remove from the heat, add the parmesan and season with salt and pepper. (The sauce may seem thin but it will thicken as it stands.)
  • Divide the dumplings and sauce among plates. Top with the scallions and more parmesan.

3 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
2 cups frozen peas
1 pound peeled and deveined cooked medium shrimp, tails removed
1 jar (15 ounces) Alfredo sauce
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven, cook pasta according to package directions, adding peas during the last 3 minutes of cooking; drain and return to pan., Stir in shrimp and sauce; heat through over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese.

1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in cream. Bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. , Add the shrimp, cheese, garlic and pepper; cook and stir until heated through. Drain fettuccine; toss with shrimp mixture. Sprinkle with parsley.
