BEST EVER MUFFINS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
• Stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Make a well in the center. In a small bowl or 2 cup measuring cup, beat egg with a fork. Stir in milk and oil. Pour all at once into the well in the flour mixture. Mix quickly and lightly with a fork until moistened, but do not beat. The batter will be lumpy. Pour the batter into paper lined muffin pan cups.
• Variations: Blueberry Muffins: Add 1 cup fresh blueberries. Raisin Muffins: Add 1 cup finely chopped raisins. Date Muffins: Add 1 cup finely chopped dates. Cheese Muffins: Fold in 1 cup grated sharp yellow cheese. Bacon Muffins: Fold 1/4 cup crisp cooked bacon, broken into bits.
• Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden.

SEX MUFFINS

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 375°F.
• Put little paper muffin cuppy things into 12 regular sized muffin cups (or, if you are really unfortunate, grease the pan).
• If you are using bananas in the muffins, use metal foil muffin cups so that the muffins won't stick.
• In a large bowl, stir together the milk, butter, vanilla (if applicable) and egg.
• Add salt, sugar, and baking powder; mix.
• Add flour, mixing only enough to combine.
• Add chocolate chips and fruit.
• Spoon batter into prepared cups until each one is about 4/5 full.
• There will be 12 muffins worth.
• Bake for 16-18 minutes.
• Sometimes these muffins don't brown on top, but they are still done.
• Stick one with a fork; if it comes out with only crumbs (and no batter) on it, you're all good.
• Remove muffins from pan and let cool.
• They are delicious hot, but they will stick to the wrappers.
