Easy Spinach Artichoke Dip image

Comforting and creamy are just some of the words that describe Susanne Nonekowski's warm Spinach Artichoke Spread. "You may have tasted a similar spread in a restaurant," she writes from Oak Harbor, Ohio. "Served with crackers or veggies, it's an all-time favorite."

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups mayonnaise
2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
1 can (14 ounces) water-packed artichoke hearts, rinsed, drained and chopped
2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
2 garlic cloves, minced

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Spoon into an ungreased 9-in. deep-dish pie plate. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until heated through. Serve warm.

This is so quick and easy -you will make it often. When serving this hot dip for a party, try baking it in 2 smaller casseroles. When the first casserole is empty, replace it with the second one, fresh from the oven. Recipe and photo Lipton's soup.

1 pkg lipton onion soup mix, or savory herb with garlic, or golden onion or onion mushroom soup mix
14 oz can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 c best foods mayonnaise or hellmann's
8 oz sour cream
1 c shredded swiss or mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350^. In 1 quart casserole, combine all ingredients. Bake uncovered 30 minutes or until heated through. Serve with your favorite dippers. --- Note: This can be served cold also. Omit Swiss cheese. Stir in, if desired, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, Do not bake this.

2 (15 ounce) cans artichokes, in water, quartered & drained
1 (8 ounce) package frozen spinach, thawed & squeezed out
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Put cheeses, mayo, soup (undiluted), and garlic powder in bowl and blend well.
  • Break spinach up while mixing with spoon - mix until well blended, then add in artichokes.
  • Pour into oven safe dish/casserole, sprinkle with more parmesan.
  • Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
  • Serve with salsa and tortilla chips or with your favorite bread.
  • Quick Tips: Microwave cream cheese until softened, then blend. Instead of baking, microwave until hot throughout, then stick under the broiler to brown the top.

14 ounces artichoke hearts
1 cup light sour cream
3/4 cup mayonnaise
4 garlic cloves
3 tablespoons diced onions (usually about 2 thick slices)
2 -3 tablespoons jalapenos (I use diced in a jar)
1 dash hot sauce
1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 cup parmesan cheese (grated)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375F and lightly spritz a baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Drain and finely chop artichoke hearts.
  • Chop onion, garlic and jalapeno if not pre-minced/diced.
  • Combine everything into bowl.
  • Mix everything together with spoon and place in prepared baking dish.
  • Place in oven for 20-25 minutes or until slightly brown on top.
  • Serve with sliced veggies, Triscuits (I like the Rosemary and Olive Oil) or whatever you like. ENJOY!
