CHOCOLATE PRETZELS
These are unlike any chocolate pretzel I have ever had before! My aunt gave me the recipe and they are wonderful.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place pretzels on baking sheets. Unwrap candy kisses and place one in the center of each pretzel.
- Place in preheated oven 1 to 2 minutes, until kisses melt. Remove from oven and place one candy-coated chocolate in the center of each pretzel. Chill in refrigerator until set.

Steps:
- Mix 1/2 cup butter and the sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla, and milk.
- Sift cocoa and flour.
- Mix into butter mixture until thoroughly blended.
- Chill dough until firm enough to handle (about 30 minutes).
- Using 2 teaspoons of dough, roll a rope about 12 inches long between your hands.
- Shape into a pretzel as follows: make a loop bout 1 1/2 inches in diameter by crossing the ends, leaving 1-inch tails.
- Flip the loop down over the crossed ends. Press firmly into place.
- Place pretzels on greased baking sheets.
- Bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
- Make frosting in a small bowl.
- Mix cocoa and confectioners' sugar.
- Gradually stir in butter and vanilla.
- If frosting is too thick, thin with milk.
- When pretzels are cool, spread with cocoa frosting.

- Dip 10 pretzels in milk chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place on waxed paper. Decorate half of the pretzels with sprinkles. Chill for 10 minutes or until set., Dip the remaining 10 pretzels in white candy coating, allowing excess to drip off. Place on waxed paper. Decorate half of the pretzels with sprinkles. Chill for 10 minutes or until set., Drizzle the plain white-coated pretzels with milk chocolate. Drizzle the plain milk chocolate-coated pretzels with white candy coating. Chill for 10 minutes or until set. Store in an airtight container.

Perfect for the holidays and of course two of my favorite's being peanut butter and chocolate. I'm in heaven.

- In a microwave or heavy saucepan, melt chocolate chips and 3 t. oil until smooth.
- Dip pretzels, shake off excess.
- Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheet to set and then refrigerate for one hour.
- Meanwhile melt the peanut butter chips and remaining oil.
- Transfer to a small resealable bag.
- Cut a small hole in the corner of bag, drizzle over 1/2 the pretzels and again refrigerate until hardened.
- Store in a airtight container.

- Preheat oven to 200°.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment or waxed paper.
- Place as many pretzels on the cookie sheet as will fit.
- Top each with a Hershey's Kiss or Hug. The Hugs chocolates melt faster than Kisses.
- Place in oven and remove when candy begins to soften just enough to press an M&M candy or decoration into softened candy.
- Top each with a holiday M&M or decorative candy of choice.
- Allow to cool completely and then place in freezer for 15 minutes to firm up chocolate.
- Remove from freezer, place pretzel candies in airtight container and store in freezer until ready to use.
- *Any small shaped pretzel can be used, such as square, waffle-shaped or round.
- *Serve for any holiday or event by changing the color of the M&M candies to colors consistent with the celebration.
