- Cook pasta according to package directions. , Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the sausage, green pepper, onion and mushrooms over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in Alfredo sauce. Drain pasta and stir into skillet; heat through. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

- 1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, chop leek and mushrooms. 2. Cook pasta according to the package instructions. In the meantime, remove sausage casing by cutting the links in half (butterfly); wash hands. 3. In a large sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage and brown 3-4 minutes, stirring to crumble the meat until no longer pink. Remove from pan and set aside. When the pasta is done, drain and set aside. 4. In the same sauté pan, add the other tablespoon olive oil. Sauté leeks and mushrooms over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes or until tender. 5. Stir in wine and reduce heat to medium-low; simmer for 2-3 minutes or until the wine is evaporated by about one-half. 6. Stir in Alfredo sauce; bring to a simmer. Add cheese into the sauce; whisk until melted. Stir in the pasta and the sausage; cook and stir for about a minute. 7. Dish, sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Steps:
- Bring water to boil for pasta. Chop leek (white part only; 1 cup); chop parsley.
- Remove sausage casing: cut almost in half (butterfly); turn sausage over and peel casing away (wash hands). Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2-3 minutes. Place 1 tablespoon oil in pan, then add sausage; brown 3-4 minutes, stirring to crumble meat, or until no pink remains. Meanwhile, cook pasta following package instructions.
- Remove sausage from pan. Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil to same sauté pan, then add mushrooms and leeks; cook and stir 3-4 minutes or until tender.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in wine; simmer 2-3 minutes or until reduced by about one-half.
- Stir in Alfredo sauce; bring to a simmer. Meanwhile, shred cheese (1/2 cup) into sauce; whisk until melted. Stir in pasta and sausage; cook and stir 1 minute. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.

- Set whipped topping out to thaw. Slice strawberries.
- Cut six 1/2-inch-thick slices from cake; arrange 4-5 slices to cover bottom of 9-inch-square serving dish. Drizzle or brush creamer over cake slices.
- Combine yogurt and strawberries; spoon mixture evenly over cake slices. Spread whipped topping over strawberry mixture.
- Crumble remaining cake slice over edge for garnish. Chill 1 1/2 hours (or overnight) until thoroughly chilled and cake slices are softened. Serve. (Makes 9 servings.).

- Alfredo sauce cooks fairly quickly, so begin your pasta first.
- Defrost sausages is microwave. Mash them with a fork until broken into little chunks.
- Melt butter in large pot. Add sausage pieces and sliced mushrooms over medium high heat for 5 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and spices and reduce heat a bit. Stir frequently until cream thickens (about 8-10 minutes).
- Remove from heat and add Parmesan. Stir thoroughly. Serve over cooked pasta.

DELICIOUS MUSHROOM ALFREDO
I looked everywhere for a good mushroom alfredo. I used to saute the mushrooms and add them in, but they just weren't as good as I hoped. After some experimentation I came up with this recipe for my Mother-in-Law's birthday party and it was unbelievable. Everyone loved it! I served it over tortellini, but generally I'll just serve it over wheat pasta noodles.

- Melt half the butter in medium saucepan over medium/low heat.
- Add the garlic, onion, and mushroom and sauté until the liquid is released. 5-7 minutes.
- Add the remaining butter, cream, and white pepper and bring mixture to a simmer.
- Stir often.
- Begin your noodles or tortellini at this point so everything will be done at the same time.
- Add the Mozzarella cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth, stirring constantly.
- When sauce has thickened add the Parmesan cheese and stir frequently until smooth. Remove from heat when sauce has reached desired consistency.

MUSHROOM LASAGNA WITH HOT SAUSAGE AND SPINACH
Hot sausage gives this Alfredo mushroom lasagna a nice kick and it's easy to make using jarred sauce and no-boil noodles. A slice of heaven on your plate!

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 10x15-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Slice sausage links.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir sausage and onions in the hot skillet until sausage is browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Add mushrooms and continue cooking until soft and browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain excess grease.
- Place spinach in a medium bowl. Microwave, uncovered, for 3 1/2 minutes. Pour in ricotta cheese and beaten egg. Stir well until blended.
- Combine Alfredo sauce and milk in a medium bowl. Mix well.
- Spread about 1/2 cup sauce evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Place 3 uncooked noodles over sauce. Spread 1/2 of the spinach mixture over the noodles followed by 1/2 of the sausage mixture. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese. Place 3 more noodles on top and pour 1 1/2 cups sauce over noodles. Spread remaining spinach mixture over top of noodles followed by remaining sausage mixture. Sprinkle with another 1/3 of mozzarella. Place 3 more noodles over the mozzarella and pour remaining sauce evenly on top. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
- Spray a sheet of aluminum foil with cooking spray and cover the dish tightly, sprayed-side down.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove aluminum foil and continue to bake until noodles are soft and lasagna is bubbly, 10 to 15 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
