Rich, creamy, with bits of spice and tang from jalapeno peppers--this dip is just like the good stuff you get in restaurants but you'll get 3 to 4 times the amount for the same price. Serve with crispy light tortilla chips, or over nachos, a burrito, or heck, even a shoe it's so good!

Ingredients

1 pound white American cheese, cubed
¾ cup half-and-half
¼ cup diced pickled jalapeno peppers
1 teaspoon pickled jalapeno pepper juice
⅛ teaspoon ground cumin
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

Combine American cheese and half-and-half in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high power in 1 1/2 minute intervals, stirring in between each interval, until melted and creamy, 5 to 7 minutes.
Stir in jalapenos, jalapeno juice, cumin, and cayenne. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and serve immediately.

Ingredients

1 lb lean hamburger
1 (15 1/2 ounce) jar medium salsa con queso
1 (16 ounce) jar of medium salsa
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans
thinly sliced scallion

Steps:

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the hamburger meat,breaking it up into little pieces as it cooks.
When the hamburger is browned, stir in the Restaurant Style Salsa Con Queso, the Salsa, and the kidney beans.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium-low.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour into a heat-proof serving bowl, sprinkle with scallions, and serve immediately with Tortilla Chips.

Add in the cheese, cumin, onions, and green chiles. Cheese will take a while to melt down, but keep stirring the mixture every few minutes so that it doesn't start burning on the bottom of the pot.
Once the cheese has melted, around 10 minutes, the mixture should be pretty smooth. Turn the heat down to simmer and add in the tomatoes. Stir to combine.
