Green Juice (For Your Juicer) image

I tried Kris Carr's vegan cleanse and had this juice every morning for breakfast. You actually feel healthier after drinking this juice. She calls it, "Make Juice, Not War Green Juice". :) P.S. This recipe is for 2, sometimes I just halved the recipe. You could also save one of the servings for a mid-morning snack or to have at lunch. Just make sure to refrigerate it if you choose to save the second serving.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 large cucumbers (only peel if they are not organic)
4 -5 stalks kale
4 -5 romaine leaves
4 stalks celery
1 -2 big broccoli stem
1 -2 pear (I use 2 small pears)
1 inch piece ginger (fresh ginger. sometimes I use a bit less.)

Steps:

  • Juice all of the ingredients and enjoy the health benefits!

This is so tasty! I made it for breakfast this morning, and it was great! I feel energized and ready to tackle the day. NOTE: this only makes an 8 oz. glass, so make sure if you're making this for a crowd to use more.

2 apples, cored and cut to fit your juicer (I like Macs, but any kind work)
half of a cucumber
2 cm piece ginger (I like a bit more for a zing)

  • 1. Juice apples, cucumber and ginger.
  • 2. Pour into glass(es) and enjoy!
