6 rennet apples
3/8 ounce sugar
1 lemon zest
vanilla powder (or vanilla extract)
1 cup white wine
2 tablespoons apple jam
16 slices sandwich bread
1 3/4 ounces butter

Steps:

  • Peel and dice the apples.
  • Cook diced apples in a pan over low heat for ten minutes with the sugar, lemon peel, vanilla and white wine. Then, add the jam and carefully remove the lemon peel.
  • Whisk until creamy.
  • Cut 4 slices of soft white bread on the diagonal to make 8 triangles.
  • Use a butter knife to butter one side of the bread. Line the bottom of a cake pan (with the buttered side of the triangles facing down). Then do the same for the sides.
  • Fill the cake pan with the applesauce and cover with the remaining bread, buttered side up.
  • Bake in a 350° F oven for about 30 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and serve.

1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (like Eagle brand)
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat over to 350°F.
  • Use a 1/ 1/2 quart baking dish (10x6) and melt butter or margarine in the oven.
  • Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over melted butter and mix well.
  • Press into the bottom of the dish to make a crust.
  • Mix sweetened condensed milk, cream cheese and lemon juice.
  • Spread evenly over crust.
  • Spoon pie filling evenly over creamy layer.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes until set.
  • Cool slightly.
  • In small dish, mix together nuts and cinnamon.
  • Sprinkle over pie filling.
  • Serve warm or cold.
  • Refrigerate leftovers (if there are any!).

1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons quick-cooking oats
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Dash ground cinnamon
Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, optional

Steps:

  • Place apples in an ungreased 2-or 3-cup baking dish; sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine brown sugar, oats, butter and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer or until apples are tender. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

4 apples, peeled
2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 dash cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
  • Slice each apple into four pieces; you will have a total of 16 pieces.
  • Roll an applie piece in each crescent roll starting at the wide end of the crescent roll.
  • Place in baking pan with the seam side down.
  • Pour orange juice in the pan.
  • Melt butter in a bowl.
  • Add butter to dish.
  • Put the cup of sugar evenly over tops of apples that are wrapped in crescent rolls.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon lightly on tops.
  • Bke until crescent rolls are lightly browned about 45-60 minutes.

1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
6 cups cold milk
3 (3 1/2 ounce) packages vanilla instant pudding mix
1 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 (17 ounce) jar caramel ice cream topping
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
2 (21 ounce) cans apple pie filling
2 (16 ounce) cartons frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Prepare and bake cake according to package directions, using two greased 9 inch round baking pans.
  • Cool for 10 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
  • In a large bowl, whisk milk, pudding mixes, apple pie spice and brown sugar for two minutes.
  • Let stand until soft set.
  • Cut one cake layer, if needed, to fit evenly into an 8 quart punch bowl.
  • Poke holes in cake with a long wooden skewer.
  • Gradually pour a third of the caramel topping over cake.
  • Spread with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecans.
  • Spread with half of the pudding mixture.
  • Spread one can of pie filling over pudding mixture.
  • Spread one carton of whipped topping on top of pie filling.
  • Top with remaining cake and repeat the layers.
  • Drizzle the remaining caramel topping on top and sprinkle with remaining pecans.
  • Refrigerate until serving.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350*.
  • In lg mixer bowl, combine cake mix, butter and egg; beat on low until crumbly.
  • Press into ungreased 13x9 pan.
  • Spread with pie filling.
  • Mix brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon.
  • Sprinkle over apples.
  • In sm bowl, blend sour cream, egg and vanilla.
  • Pour over sugar mixture.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, until topping is golden.
