PEANUT AND RAISIN CLUSTERS

Steps:

• Melt chocolate in top part of double boiler over boiling water (You may just do in a pan over low heat if you don't have double boiler).
• Add condensed milk and salt.
• Cook for 10 minutes, or until thickened, stirring constantly.
• Add raisins and nuts.
• Drop by tablespoonfuls onto wax paper.
• Refrigerate until firm.
• Makes bout 20 clusters.

RAISIN PEANUT CLUSTERS

Steps:

• In a heavy 3-quart saucepan, melt chocolate and the shortening on low heat.
• Remove from the heat and stir in the raisins and peanuts.
• Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper or parchment paper.
• Allow to dry and firm. (This will take about 2 hours.) Store in airtight containers on the countertop.

• Melt chocolate; cool slightly. Add peanuts and raisins and mix well. Drop mixture by spoonful onto baking sheets covered with wax paper. Chill until set. Makes 3/4 pound.

• Remove from heat and stir in nuts and raisins.
• Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
• Chill until firm,about 2 hours.
• Store in airtight conyainers in refrigerator.

Steps:

• In a heavy saucepan over low heat, cook and stir candy coating and chips until melted and smooth. Cool for 10 minutes; stir in peanuts., Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate until firm, about 45 minutes.

RAISIN CLUSTERS

Steps:

• Line baking sheet with buttered wax paper; set aside.
• Melt chocolate with condensed milk and vanilla in heavy small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally.
• Remove from heat.
• Stir in raisins.
• Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet.
• Refrigerate until firm.
