Number Of Ingredients 4

Ingredients

1 ounce Apry liqueur
Sprigs of young mint
2 ounces bourbon
Crushed ice

Steps:

Pour the Apry into a highball glass, add 3 or 4 small mint leaves and muddle.
Add the bourbon and fill glass with crushed ice.
Stir until frost forms on outside of glass, and garnish with 3 or 4 mint sprigs. Serve with two straws.

Three different kinds of melons make up this colorful fruit medley. Lime juice and soda, plus a hint of mint, season this pretty citrus salad from Sue Ross of Casa Grande, Arizona.

Ingredients

3 cups watermelon balls
3 cups honeydew balls
2 cups cantaloupe balls
½ cup orange juice
½ cup lime juice
¼ cup granulated artificial sweetener
2 tablespoons minced fresh mint leaves
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
2 teaspoons grated lime peel
1 cup diet lemon-lime soda

Steps:

In a large bowl, combine the melon balls. In a small bowl, combine the orange juice, lime juice, sugar substitute, mint, orange peel and lime peel. Pour over melon; toss gently to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until chilled. Just before serving, add soda and toss gently.

Combine bourbon, watermelon juice and mint simple syrup together and shake or stir well. Pour over crushed iced, top with club soda and serve with extra mint leaves. Garnish with watermelon triangles
Add the watermelon to a high-powered blender and puree until smooth. Pour through a fine mesh sieve into a large measuring cup to remove any of the pulp.
Combine sugar, mint and water together in a small saucepan and heat over high heat until simmering, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and cook for another minute or so, then set aside to cool completely. Remove mint before using. You can do this ahead of time and store it in the fridge.
