Rachael Ray's Get Togethers. She doesn't say how much to beat the egg white, but it sounds like until soft or stiff peaks form. I will update when I test the recipe.

1 (14 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup granola cereal
1 egg white, beaten
whipped cream, to serve

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Mixed peaches with ginger. Place in small ovenproof bowls.
  • Combine butter and sugar with a fork, then mix in granola.
  • Fold in beaten egg white.
  • Mound the topping on the peaches. Place on a small baking sheet and bake 10-12 minutes.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving with whipped cream.

1 (29 ounce) canned peaches
2 1/4 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  • Spread peaches (including liquid) in an 8x8 glass casserole.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, mix bisquick and milk just until moist.
  • Spread the dough over peaches by dropping by teaspoonful.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden.

I got this recipe from my mother-in-law about 26 years ago. She is almost 92 years old now. This is the best peach cobbler I have ever eaten. We like to top it off with ice cream. Anybody that has ever eaten this at my house loves it.

1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1 (20 ounce) can sliced peaches

Steps:

  • Melt butter and pour over peaches in a shallow baking dish.
  • Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over peaches.
  • Mix 1/2 cup sugar, 3/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 cup milk; drizzle over peaches.
  • Bake at 350° until crust is brown (about 1 hour).

1 cup white sugar
1 cup milk
2 (16 ounce) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
½ cup butter

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch pan.
  • Mix together the flour, sugar, and milk. Pour mixture into the pan. Spread peaches, including syrup, evenly around the pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until the crust turns golden brown. Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Beat first 3 ingredients and 2 1/4 cups flour at medium speed with a heavy-duty electric stand mixer just until combined. Place dough on a lightly floured surface; roll to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut about 14 rounds with a 2 1/2-inch fluted round cutter. Place rounds in a single layer on a baking sheet; cover and chill until ready to use.
  • Pulse ginger and 1/4 cup turbinado sugar in a food processor 5 to 6 times or until well combined. Stir together ginger mixture and remaining 1/2 cup turbinado sugar in a large bowl. Add lemon juice, peaches, and remaining 3 Tbsp. flour; toss to coat.
