Pork Tenderloin Dry Rub - a delicious, homemade pork tenderloin dry rub that is perfect if you are planning on grilling or smoking your pork tenderloin!

1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons lemon pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients in a small bowl; stir to combine.
  • Place pork tenderloin in a medium bowl or on a plate.
  • Rub dry rub all over the pork tenderloin being sure to get into every nook and cranny.
  • Cover or place in an airtight silicone bag and let sit 30-60 minutes or as long as 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Cook pork tenderloin however you want, but we highly recommend grilled or smoked!

½ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon dry mustard powder
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 (2 1/2 pound) boneless pork loin roast

Steps:

  • Mix brown sugar, pepper, salt, garlic powder, mustard powder, ground ginger, onion powder, red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, cumin, paprika, and thyme in a bowl. Rub spice mixture over pork loin and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Place pork on a 9x13-inch baking dish and refrigerate for 4 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove plastic wrap from pork and discard; return pork to baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until pork is slightly pink in the center, about 50 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Cover pork loosely with aluminum foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon coriander seed
1 tablespoon cumin seed
1 tablespoon fennel seed
1 tablespoon mustard seed
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons Spanish paprika
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
2 bay leaves
1 (1 1/2 pound) pork tenderloin

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients except the tenderloin and grind in a spice grinder. Cover the tenderloin with the rub and marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill or broiler to high. Grill the pork until an inserted thermometer reads 140 degrees F, about 15 to 18 minutes. Let roast rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon salt
About 1 1/4 pounds pork tenderloin (This is where we buy our favorite pork tenderloin.*)
1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450° F.
  • In small bowl mix dry ingredients-garlic powder, oregano, cumin, coriander, ground thyme and salt. Stir mixture with a fork until all the ingredients are well combined and they form a seasoning.
  • Rub the pork with the seasoning over all sides of the meat, pressing gently so the seasoning adheres well to the tenderloin. (Freezing instructions begin here.)
  • Optional Step (If freezing, skip this step!): In a large skillet (or oven-safe pan) over medium-high heat, heat the oil until it's shimmering. Carefully place tenderloin in the hot pan using tongs and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until the meat is browned evenly.
  • Transfer the pork to a roasting pan (or if it's in an oven-safe pan, place direction in the oven) and bake until it reaches an internal temp of 145°F. This will take about 20 minutes. It will still be slightly pink inside.
  • Let meat rest for 5-10 minutes so juices redistribute. Slice on an angle and serve.
