1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup teriyaki baste and glaze (from 12-oz bottle)
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
12 pieces (1 1/2 inches each) fresh pineapple (2 cups)
4 tuna steaks (about 4 oz each)
4 cups bite-size pieces mixed salad greens
1 cup grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1 small red onion, sliced, separated into rings
1/2 cup sesame oat bran sticks

Steps:

Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, mix all dressing ingredients with wire whisk; reserve 2 tablespoons.
On each of 2 (10-inch) metal skewers, thread pineapple, leaving 1/4-inch space between each piece. Brush 1 tablespoon of the reserved dressing on pineapple; brush remaining 1 tablespoon reserved dressing on tuna.
Carefully spray grill rack with cooking spray. Place tuna on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat about 10 minutes, turning once and adding pineapple for last 5 minutes of grilling, until fish flakes easily with fork and is slightly pink in center.
Among 4 plates, divide salad greens, tomatoes and onion. Top each with pineapple and tuna. Sprinkle with sesame sticks. Serve with remaining dressing.

1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper

1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt-free herb seasoning blend
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cans (6 ounces each) light water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
8 slices Italian bread
4 slices tomato
4 lettuce leaves

Steps:

In a small bowl, combine the applesauce and mayonnaise. Stir in the celery, green pepper, pineapple, onion, seasoning blend, garlic powder and pepper. Add tuna; mix well. Spread over four slices of bread; top with tomato, lettuce and remaining bread.

½ cup pineapple juice
½ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 egg, well-beaten
6 large bananas, sliced
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained

Steps:

Combine pineapple juice, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch in a saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir until sugar dissolves and sauce is smooth, about 5 minutes.
Stir about 1 tablespoon sauce into the bowl with the egg until egg is slightly warmed. Slowly pour egg mixture into sauce, whisking until sauce is smooth and thickened. Remove saucepan from heat and freeze sauce, stirring occasionally, until completely chilled, about 15 minutes.
Mix bananas, cream cheese, and pineapple together in a bowl. Add sauce and mix until evenly coated.

I got this great summertime recipe from my mother-in-law and just love it! You can add more/less of anything according to taste, this is just a basic guide. Even my friends who don't like pasta salad love this recipe. If you refrigerate overnight, you may want to add a little Miracle Whip to moisten it back up. Hope you enjoy!

1 (14 ounce) can pineapple tidbits (drained)
1 cup mild cheddar cheese
1 (8 ounce) box rotini noodles
1 cup Miracle Whip
2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar

Steps:

Cook rotini noodles according to pkg directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Add Miracle Whip, tuna, pineapple, cheese, vinegar and sugar - mix well.
Serve immediately or refrigerate for future use.

1/2 medium fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 small onion, diced
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced
2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons lime juice
4 tuna steaks (6 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

Grill pineapple slices, uncovered, over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side. Chill for 30 minutes. , Dice the pineapple; place in a bowl. Stir in the onion, jalapenos, cilantro and lime juice. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled., Brush tuna steaks with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with pineapple salsa.

Steps:

Mix jello into hot water and add marshmellows . Drain crushed pineapple keeping juice for topping and add pineapple to jello mixture. Dice bananas and add to jello mixture. Place in refrigerator and let set. Now make topping. Mix sugar, eggs, pineapple juice flour and butter. Cook until it is like pudding, set aside and cool. When jello set put cooled pudding on top then spread whipped topping over and sprinkle with nuts.
