200 g dry pasta
1 pinch of mixed dried herbs
1 white onion
1 pepper (any colour)
200 g , tinned chopped tomatoes
3 small mushrooms (optional)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
100 g cheese

Steps:

  • Firstly, you need to put a small pan on the sideboard and pour your tomatoes into it.
  • Next peel your onion and your mushrooms, and cut them up into medium sized chunks along with your pepper.
  • Once you have chopped the veg up, you need to add them to the tomatoes in the pan and add to a low heat.
  • Keep on stirring the pan with a wooden spoon for 20 minutes or until all the veg has a slight brown colour.
  • Add your seasoning and bring the pan off the heat.
  • Get a bigger pan and place your pasta into it along with enough cold water to fully submerge the pasta. place on a medium heat for 20 minutes.
  • If your sauce has gone cold by the time your pasta is cooked, put it back on the hob on a low heat to warm it through, and keep stirring, otherwise it will burn.
  • dish the sauce and the pasta up onto three plates and sprinkle with cheese.
  • ENJOY!
