PEACH CAKE FROM A CAKE MIX

Steps:

• 1. CAKE: follow instructions on box for making the cake.
• 2. Let the cake completely cool.
• 3. While cake is cooling make the peach frosting as follows:
• 4. In blender cut up butter into small cubes.
• 5. Add the sugar/splenda
• 6. add the drained peach slices.
• 7. Blend until ssmooth.
• 8. When cake is completely cool add the peach frosting.

PEACH CAKE

Steps:

• In a large bowl, cut butter into cake mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Pat into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. , In another bowl, beat egg yolks; add sour cream until smooth. Set aside 6-8 peach slices for garnish. Cut remaining peaches into 1-in. pieces; stir into the sour cream mixture. Spread over crust; sprinkle with cinnamon. , Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until the edges begin to brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Spread with whipped topping; top with reserved peaches. Store in the refrigerator.

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
• Toss together the sliced peaches, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Let sit 15 minutes.
