HOMEMADE CRUNCH BARS
Homemade Crunch Bars are an easy candy bar made with Rice Krispies Cereal, chocolate chips and just a touch of sea salt made in just 10 minutes! You'll never buy the pre-made version again.

Steps:
- Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe glass bowl in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until full melted.
- Fold in the cereal until full coated then pour into your 8x8 baking dish.
- Spread the mixture out evenly and sprinkle over the kosher salt.
- Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes until the chocolate has completely hardened before slicing with a very sharp knife to avoid crumbling.

CAPPUCCINO CRUNCH BARS
These are something a little different for a non-specific sweet craving. I made a couple of minor alterations, but the original recipe was Edwina Gadsby's submission to Home-Tested Cookie Recipes. I found that they are better a day or two after you make them.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease a 13x9-inch pan (I recommend cooking spray- if you use shortening, the bars may seem greasy once cooled).
- Stir together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl; set aside.
- With an electric mixer, beat butter and both sugars until fluffy.
- Beat eggs in one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in dissolved and cooled coffee, extracts and orange zest.
- Gradually mix in flour mixture.
- Once flour is blended in, stir in chips and toffee bits.
- Transfer batter to prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake 25-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool in pan on wire rack before cutting into bars.

ORIENTAL CRUNCH BARS
Steps:
- Mix all ingredients together except almonds. Press into 10" x 6" cookie sheet. Press almond slices on to top. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Let pan cool for 1/2 hour, remove and break into pieces.
ROCKY ROAD CRUNCH BARS
From the Summer 2006 Kraft food & family home mailer. A quick, sweet treat that could be made with a variety of ingredients. I made them by the recipe & they are crunchy, sweet & salty, however, I think they could benefit by more chocolate.

- Microwave honey & butter in large bowl on high for 1 minute; stir till well blended.
- Add marshmallow, toss to coat & microwave 1 1/2 minutes or till marshmallows puff up. Stir till well blended.
- Add remaining ingredients & mix well.
- Pour in a well buttered, foil lined 13X9 inch pan.
- Cool & cut into 24 bars.

- Heat oven to 400°F Place crackers in single layer in foil-lined 15x10x3/4-inch pan.
- Cook butter and sugar in saucepan on medium-high heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally. Bring to boil; cook 3 minute without stirring. Spread over crackers.
- Bake 7 minute Immediately sprinkle with chopped chocolate; let stand 5 minute Spread melted chocolate over crackers. Sprinkle with walnuts; cool completely. Break into pieces.

- Beat first seven ingredients for 1 minute.
- Spread in greased 9x13 pan.

- Coarsely chop 8 cookies; set aside.
- Finely crush remaining 26 cookies.
- Mix finely crushed cookies and butter in bowl.
- Press firmly in bottom of greased 8x8x2 inch or 9x9-inch baking pan.
- Place marshmallow creme over crust to within 1/2 inch of edges.

- Arrange a rack in middle of oven; preheat to 375°. Line the bottom and sides of a 13x9x2 inches metal or glass baking dish with foil, allowing 2 inches overhang on either side; butter foil in dish.
