1 cup orange juice
1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Assorted fresh fruit

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk orange juice and dry pudding mix. Whisk in sour cream. Fold in whipped topping. Transfer to a serving bowl; serve with fruit. Refrigerate leftovers.

I've made and loved Ninna's Recipe #87435 for a long time, but last night made this which is loosely based on it. We all really enjoyed it.

400 ml sour cream, must be full-fat
4 tablespoons glayva or 4 tablespoons orange liqueur, of choice
4 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 teaspoons grated orange rind

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a bowl, whip with electric beaters until the mixture thickens (this can take up to 10 minutes.
  • Serve with a platter of fresh fruit chunks.

This is a delicious fluffy orange flavored dip for skewered fruit. It is equally good spooned over cubes of fruit and served as a first course or dessert. Orange juice may be substituted for the liqueur.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 orange, zested
1 fluid ounce orange liqueur

ORANGE CHOCOLATE CANNOLI DIP

2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
16 ounces ricotta
3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar, plus more for dusting
1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest, plus a little more for garnish
1 teaspoon orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or triple sec, optional
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
About 2 cups vegetable oil
12 wonton wrappers

Steps:

  • Put the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted, about 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Pulse the ricotta, confectioners' sugar, orange zest, orange liqueur, if using, and vanilla in a food processor until smooth. Add the chocolate and pulse until well combined. Transfer to a small serving bowl and sprinkle with a little more orange zest. Refrigerate until ready to serve. (Dip can be made up to 1 day ahead and kept refrigerated in an airtight container.)
  • Heat about 1/2 inch oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350 degrees F and line a tray with paper towels. Working in batches, fry the wonton wrappers, turning once, until crispy and golden brown on both sides, 1 to 1 1/2 minutes per batch. Transfer to the lined tray.
  • Dust the fried wonton wrappers with confectioners' sugar and serve with the chocolate orange dip.

FRESH FRUIT WITH CREAMY GRAND MARNIER SAUCE

10 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup plus 6 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons (or more) Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur
8 cups assorted fresh fruit (such as grapes, hulled strawberries,raspberries and blueberries)

Steps:

  • Combine first 4 ingredients and 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier in processor. Blend until smooth. Taste and add more Grand Marnier, if desired. Transfer mixture to bowl and refrigerate until cold, about one hour. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Keep refrigerated.)
  • Divide fruit among 8 stemmed goblets. Top with sauce and serve.
