NEW ALLISON'S MAMBO MARGARITAS

Steps:

• Dump limeade into a large pitcher.
• Stir in rest of the ingredients, using the can from the limeade to measure the soda and tequila.
• Serve in glasses rimmed with salt, if desired (I like them salt-free).

STRAWBERRY MARGARITAS

Steps:

• Place four 8-ounce glasses in freezer.
• Place strawberries, tequila, limeade concentrate and triple sec in the jar of a blender.
• Blend until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
• Add ice and blend until liquid is smooth.
• Serve immediately in chilled glasses.

PERFECT MARGARITA

Steps:

• Moisten the rim of a margarita glass with lime juice; dip into coarse salt or hold inverted& sprinkle coarse salt over the outside of the rim.
• Place cubes in a cocktail shaker and add the rest of the ingredients (use equal amounts of fresh lime juice and sweetened lime juice).
• Shake briskly.
• Pour into glass, garnishing with a lime slice or wedge (if desired) and serve.

THE MARGARITA (PARTY-SIZED)

Steps:

• Rub the rim of a chilled glass with a lime peel.
• Salt-frost it by dipping in coarse salt.
• Half fill a large jug with ice.
• Pour in juices, Triple Sec and Tequila.
• Stir very well.
• Pour into prepared glass.
• Garnish with a Lime wedge.
• Party Hearty!

MARGARITA

Steps:

• Moisten rim of margarita glass or martini glass with fresh lime juice.
• Hold glass inverted and sprinkle salt around the exterior of the glass, over the lime juice (this helps keep salt from getting in the drink).
• Squeeze a little lime juice into the glass and drop the lime wedge in.
• Add ice cubes to a cocktail shaker, and top with tequila, lime juice, and triple sec.
• Cover with lid and shake vigorously.
• Pour into prepared glass and serve.
• The 4 Mexican toasts while drinking (1 per round): Salud (health); Dinero (money); Amor (love); and Tiempo para enojarlos (time to enjoy them).

ITALIAN MARGARITAS

Steps:

• If desired, rub the rim of 2 margarita glasses with lime and roll in coarse sugar.
• Fill a shaker with ice and add ingredients (if you don't have a shaker, use a pitcher!).
• Add Amaretto, Triple Sec, Tequila, and sweet and sour and shake well.
• Pour into margarita glasses and garnish with lime.
• Optional "Floater": Leave a bit of room in the margarita glass and slowly pour 1/2 ounce of your favorite liqueur on top of the margarita.
