SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK POUND CAKE

Steps:

• Prepare your cake pan. Coat with shortening and flour. I use a very old aluminum "tube" pan. The hole is smaller than the newer ones, but use pan of your choice.
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Beat butter and sugar at high speed until soft and smooth. (I use a heavy-duty Kitchen Aid mixer).
• Add condensed milk and beat until well blended.
• Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition.
• Combine flour, baking powder and salt and add one cup at a time and beat well.
• Add vanilla and beat well.
• Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes. I put aluminum foil around my pan so the crust won't get too dark. Also the last 20-30 minutes I lay foil over top to prevent the crust from being too dark.
• Alow to cool for 30 minutes before removing from pan.
• Enjoy.

MOUNDS® BAR CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch pan.
• Melt butter in a large saucepan. Remove saucepan from heat and stir white sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into the melted butter until thoroughly combined.
• Mix flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder together in a large mixing bowl; add butter mixture to the flour mixture and stir to form a smooth batter. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
• Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool completely.
• Beat coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and confectioners' sugar together in the bowl of a stand mixer until very thick; spread over the cake in an even layer.
• Heat prepared frosting in the microwave until the frosting has a pourable consistency, about 75 seconds; pour over the cake and spread into an even layer. Refrigerate cake until the frosting is set, at least 15 minutes.

Steps:

• Bake cake using package directions in a 9×13-inch pan. Remove cake from oven. While still hot use a fork to poke holes in top of cake. In a bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and cream of coconut. Pour mixture over cake, spreading evenly so it will soak into holes. Cool completely. Top with Cool Whip and then coconut flakes. Chill overnight

MOUND'S CAKE

Steps:

• It's best to make this little beauty the day before you want to serve it. Make cake according to directions on package. Bake in a greased 9 by 13 inch cake pan. Allow to cool....make holes all over the cake. Hint....I use the end of a nut-picker to make the holes.
• Mix 3/4 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk with 1 can cream of coconut. Mix well.
• Ever so slowly, pour mixture over top of cake. Cover with whipped topping and spread lots of coconut on top. Put in refrigerator and leave overnight. The liquid will make its way inside the cake, and it will stay moist for a week. Believe me....it won't last that long.
