MIXED BERRY FRUIT CUPS



Mixed Berry Fruit Cups image

Make individual homemade mixed berry fruit cups with fresh mixed berries topped with whipped cream. Easy dessert recipe and snack idea for a kids party or brunch.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 quarts strawberries
2 pints blueberries
1 pint blackberries
1 pint red raspberries
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon cane sugar (optional)

Steps:

  • Wash and prep all of the fruit, and make sure all the berries are fairly dry.
  • Stem and slice the strawberries.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and red raspberries.
  • Stir the lemon juice and sugar into the berries.
  • Add the berry mix to small plastic cups and serve immediately. They're especially delicious topped off with a dollop of whipped cream.

Easy Fruit Cups image

Transform diced fruit into delicious homemade fruit cups that rival store-bought in terms of flavor and cost. You can make more cups or less, according to your preference.

2 cups finely diced fresh fruit ((such as strawberries, blueberries, apricots, peaches, grapes, cherries and/or apple))
1 cup lemonade ((low sugar if possible or apple juice or coconut water))

Steps:

  • Gather a few small storage containers. (The ones I use are 4 ounces.)
  • Fill about 3/4 with the diced fruit.
  • Add lemonade just to cover. Stir gently to make sure the fruit is coated.
  • Secure lids and serve or store in the fridge.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 medium grapefruit
2 medium navel oranges
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 cups halved fresh strawberries
1 medium apple, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 medium pear, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 medium banana, sliced
1 cup halved green grapes

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved. Cool completely., Cut a thin slice from the top and bottom of each grapefruit; stand grapefruit upright on a cutting board. Cut off peel and outer membrane, starting from the top. Holding fruit over a bowl to catch juices, remove grapefruit sections by cutting along the membrane. Repeat with oranges., Place lemon juice, sugar syrup, citrus sections and reserved juices in a large bowl; toss to combine. Refrigerate, covered, 8 hours or overnight. Stir in remaining fruit; refrigerate, covered, 1 hour longer.
