TACO CRESCENT RING

Steps:
- Heat oven to 375°F. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef until no longer pink. Add taco seasoning mix and 1/2 cup water. Simmer 3 to 4 minutes or until slightly thickened. In medium bowl, mix beef mixture and cheese.
- Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 16 triangles. On ungreased large cookie sheet, arrange triangles in ring so short sides of triangles form a 5-inch circle in center. Dough will overlap. Dough ring should look like the sun.
- Spoon beef mixture on the half of each triangle closest to center of ring.
- Bring each dough triangle up over filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around ring until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little).
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Cool 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into serving slices.

- Arrange crescent rolls on a 12-in. pizza pan, forming a ring with pointed ends facing the outer edge of pan and wide ends overlapping., Combine the remaining ingredients; spoon over wide ends of rolls. Fold points over filling and tuck under wide ends (filling will be visible). , Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Freeze option: Securely wrap cooled wreath in plastic and foil before freezing. To use, remove from freezer 30 minutes before reheating. Remove wreath from foil and plastic; reheat on a greased baking sheet in a preheated 325° oven until heated through.

- Line a 16-ounce bowl with plastic wrap, allowing excess to hang over the sides.
- Combine cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and taco seasoning in a food processor; process until well combined. Add green onions, ½ of the cilantro leaves, and green chiles and pulse until well combined with flecks of green; do not fully process.
- Transfer cheese mixture to the lined bowl and press to smooth. Cover and refrigerator for at least 4 hours or up to 8 hours or overnight.
- Invert cheese onto a serving platter and remove plastic. Use a small shot glass or spoon to create a hole in the center of the cheese to form a wreath shape.
- Finely chop remaining cilantro leaves and lightly cover the top of the cheese. Combine tomato, onion, and jalapeno in a small bowl and place over the cilantro in a 1-inch ring around the wreath.

This savory appetizer is great to eat as a bite on its own or spread onto crackers. You can add fresh rosemary sprigs and cherry tomatoes to make the wreath even more festive.

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Draw a 5-inch circle on the center of the parchment paper.
- Open both cans of dough and separate crescents into 16 triangles. Arrange the triangles on the prepared baking sheet the flat edges lined up and overlapping along the 5-inch circle and the points facing outward; it will resemble a sunburst.
- Combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and 6 tablespoons pesto in a bowl. Mix until well combined, then spread around the center of the ring of crescent dough.
- Wrap each dough triangle up over filling and tucking it under the bottom to secure. Repeat around the entire ring. Brush remaining 2 tablespoons pesto on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the dough is golden brown and cooked, 18 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
- Slice into individually portioned rings, but keep all the rings in place in the shape of a wreath. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and cherry tomatoes.

- Heat oven to 375°F. Invert 10-ounce custard cup on center of ungreased large cookie sheet. Remove dough from 1 can, keeping dough in 1 piece; do not unroll. (Keep remaining can of dough in refrigerator.) With palms of hands, roll dough in one direction to form 12-inch log. Cut log into 20 slices. Arrange 16 slices, slightly overlapping and in clockwise direction, around custard cup on cookie sheet.
- Repeat with second can of dough, cutting log into 20 slices. Arrange slices from second can and remaining 4 slices from first can (total of 24 slices), slightly overlapping each other and in counterclockwise direction, close to but not overlapping first ring. Remove custard cup from center of wreath shape.
- Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until light golden brown. Gently loosen wreath from cookie sheet; carefully slide onto cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cover chipotle chiles with water; let stand 10 to 15 minutes. Drain; finely chop. In medium bowl, mix chiles, sour cream, cilantro, mayonnaise, sugar, salt and cumin.
