Madonna Salad image

I have NO IDEA where the name of this salad came from....all I know is that we really like it!!

Number Of Ingredients 6

Ingredients

1 pkg (3 oz,) apricot jello
3/4 c sugar
1 can(s) (sm) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 jar(s) (lge.) apricot-tapioca baby food
1 (8 oz.) ctn. cool whip

Steps:

1. Mix Jello,(with liquid listed on box) sugar, and pineapple together in a saucepan, and bring to a boil; mix well.
2. Remove from heat to cool. Cool until beginning to thicken.
3. Meanwhile, mix cream cheese with baby food. Combine with the cooled Jello mixture.
4. Fold in Cool Whip.
5. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
