REFRESHING LIME SLUSH
Nothing quenches my thirst on a hot summer day quite like this slush with a subtle lime flavor. When warm weather arrives, a batch will be chilling in my freezer.-Karen Bourne, Magrath, Alberta

Steps:
- In a 4-qt. freezer container, combine the water, sugar and limeade concentrate until sugar is dissolved; cover and freeze. Remove from the freezer several hours before serving. Chop mixture until slushy. Add soda just before serving. Garnish with lime slices if desired.

Very refreshing on a hot day. Sprite or 7-Up can be used for the lemon-lime soda. The recipe comes from Coastal Living. Freezing and thawing time is not included in prep or cook time.

Steps:
- Process half of the lemonade, limeade, and ice in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Pour mixture into a 4-quart plastic container. Repeat procedure with other half. Freeze until firm.
- Remove from freezer 30 minutes before serving; break into chunks. Add soda; stir until slushy. Garnish, if desired.

- Place all ingredients in a blender, cover tightly, and blend on high for 1 to 2 minutes, or until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses, and garnish with fresh lemon and lime slices.

This can be made with other flavors of frozen juices - just exchange the ones listed or just one and add another in it's place. I like cranberry/lemon too! Also the type of liquor you use can be changed just use the same amount of whatever...

- 1. Combine lemonade,limeade,water and rum or whatever liquor you are going to use in a plastic ice cream bucket or large Tupperware container.
- 2. Slowly pour in the 7-UP. gently stir until all is combine and dissolved. Place in freezer until ready to use. Usually overnight.
- 3. When ready to serve scoop some out into glass of choice-(I like Mason jars)about 1/2 full of slush and add additional 7-UP to the top- stir to mix and Enjoy. Keep bucket in the freezer, if any is left.LOL

- Cover& freeze overnight.
