A simple one pot stove-top tuna mac and cheese that creates a quick, filling dinner that's done in 15-minutes or less!

6 Cups of Water
¼ Cup Frozen Peas
¼ Cup Frozen Corn
4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
¼ Cup Milk
1 (5 Ounce) Can Tuna in Water, drained
Packet of Cheese Powder (from box of macaroni and cheese)

Steps:

  • Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil. Add noodles and frozen vegetables. Cook until noodles are done, about 7 to 8 minutes. Drain, and place the noodles and vegetables back in the pan. Add the butter, milk, tuna, and cheese packet. Stir until the ingredients are combined and creamy. Serve hot. The tuna mac can be stored in your fridge (in a container with a lid) for 3-days.

1 can (12 ounces) light water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1-1/3 cups 2% milk
2 packages (9 ounces each) frozen peas and pearl onions
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 can (2.8 ounces) French-fried onions, divided

Steps:

  • Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package directions. Stir in the tuna, soup, milk, peas, mushrooms and half of the fried onions. , Place in a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining fried onions; bake 5 minutes longer or until heated through.

1/2 cup 2% milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of broccoli soup, undiluted
1 can (6 ounces) tuna, drained and flaked
3/4 cup frozen peas
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon process cheese sauce

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Stir in the milk, butter and contents of cheese packet. This dish is super easy. It is also a very hearty delicious bowl of comfort food. The guys in my house loved it. I loved this recipe but I used cream of mushroom soup and added the cheese into the casserole. I also melted butter and added bread crumbs to the top before baking, then sprinkle top lightly with dill seasoning. The resulting casserole was very creamy and flavorful.

1 (7.25 ounce) package macaroni and cheese
¼ cup butter
¼ cup milk
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
½ cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley, or to taste
¼ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup butter, melted
½ teaspoon dried dill weed, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, 8 minutes. Drain and return macaroni to pot.
  • Stir 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup milk, and powdered cheese from envelope into the cooked macaroni. Stir cream of mushroom soup, tuna, and 1/2 cup milk into the macaroni and cheese. Pour macaroni mixture into the prepared baking dish; top with Cheddar cheese and parsley.
  • Mix bread crumbs, melted butter, and dill in a small bowl; sprinkle over Cheddar cheese layer.

1 (7.25 ounce) package macaroni and cheese dinner mix
¼ cup margarine, cut into pieces
¼ cup milk
1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 cup bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bring water to boil in a saucepan. Cook macaroni at a boil, stirring occasionally, until tender, 7 to 8 minutes; drain.
  • Return macaroni to the saucepan. Stir cheese sauce mixture from the packet, margarine, and milk into the macaroni until the margarine melts and the macaroni is evenly coated in sauce. Add tuna and mushrooms; stir. Pour macaroni mixture into a small casserole dish; top with bread crumbs.

1 green onion, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon dill weed

  • Prepare Kraft dinner according to package directions, sauce and all.
  • Stir in the tuna, green onion, dill weed, salt, pepper and cheese. Voila!
  • I love it with ketchup but I know how people can be quite funny about what ketchup does and doesn't go on, so you decide :o).

1 box of kraft original macaroni and cheese
1/2 cup frozen peas
1 can campbell's cream of celery soup or 1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 soup can whole milk
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/4 cup butter, sliced
1 (12 ounce) can solid white tuna
1/2 cup crushed garlic bagel chips
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Cook pasta in salted water to very al dente. In the last few minutes of pasta cooking time toss the frozen peas into the boiling water. Drain.
  • Meanwhile in a medium sized oven proof bowl, add soup, milk, mayonnaise and the contents of cheese flavor package and stir until smooth. Add half of the parmesan cheese and the tuna and mix, breaking up any large chunks of tuna. Add pasta to bowl and without stirring add butter slices and allow hot pasta to melt the butter. When butter has melted, mix well. Top the casserole with the remaining parmesan cheese and then the crushed bagel chips.
  • Bake casserole until browned and bubbling 25 to 30 minutes.

A friend and I made this up in college -- as we did not have much money, nor a proper kitchen. Over the years, I have tweaked it a bit -- now that I DO have a proper kitchen!

1 (7 1/4 ounce) box Kraft macaroni and cheese
1 (6 ounce) can tuna
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup frozen peas, defrosted
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup French-fried onions

Steps:

  • Cook Macaroni and Cheese according to box directions.
  • Stir in tuna, cream of mushroom soup, and frozen peas.
  • Transfer mixture to baking dish and top with shredded cheese and french fried onions.
  • Bake at 375 degrees until cheese is melted, and dish is heated through (approximately 15 minutes).
  • Enjoy!
  • If you are low on time, or don't want to heat up the oven, you can omit the cheese and french friend onions, and simply warm through on the stovetop.
