Kosher Seasoning Salt image

My husband loves kosher salt, so I made a homemade seasoning salt with it for him. I use it whenever called for in a recipe, tastes just like the kind I buy at the store.

7 tablespoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dry mustard powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon curry powder
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon dried dill weed

Steps:

  • Pour the salt into a small mixing bowl. Whisk in the paprika, thyme, parsley, mustard powder, garlic powder, chili powder, curry powder, cumin, and dill until evenly blended. Store in a tightly sealed shaker jar.

We love using this delicious blend to season chicken or vegetables before grilling. Makes enough to store and use later. Sprinkle over meat or vegetables and grill.

4 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon ground red pepper

Steps:

  • Stir salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in an airtight container, seal, and shake to combine.
