I made this cake yesterday just because I never made a peanut butter cake before. It's absolutely wonderful and I thought I would post it for others to use!! www.jif.com

Number Of Ingredients 16

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 cup water
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup oil
2 cups flour
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2-3/4 cup chopped peanuts

Steps:

Cake: Combine butter, water, peanut butter and oil and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Turn off heat.
Cool.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well until blended and pour onto greased and flour 10 x 15 jellyroll pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool and frost.
Frosting: Heat butter, milk and peanut butter to a boil in a large saucepan.
Add vanilla and powdered sugar.
Stir until smooth.
Frost cake.
Sprinkle with chopped peanuts.

Your children will enjoy decorating this bunny cake made with crisp rice cereal, marshmallows, and Jif® Creamy Peanut butter.

6 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 (10 ounce) packages marshmallows
2 cups Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
10 cups crisp rice cereal
1 serving CRISCO® No-Stick Cooking Spray
½ cup Smucker's® Jelly Beans, or as desired
4 pieces licorice, or as desired
20 piece (blank)s gum drops, or as desired
20 each decorative candy pieces, or as desired
½ cup butter or margarine
½ cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 ½ cups sifted powdered sugar

Steps:

In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows. Stir until completely melted and remove from heat.
Stir in JIF® and mix well to incorporate.
Add rice crisp cereal and stir until well coated.
Press into two 9-inch pans, well coated with CRISCO® No-Stick Cooking Spray, and allow to cool.
Cut ears and bow tie from one cake. This is done by cutting two football-shaped ears from the top and bottom of one cake layer, leaving a bow-tie-shaped piece in the middle.
Position two ears at top of whole round cake and place bow tie under face.
Apply optional glaze, if desired. Decorate with SMUCKER'S® Jelly Beans, marshmallows, licorice and gum drops or any of your favorite cake decorations.
