- In a large skillet, cook beef with onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder until the onion is tender; drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, tomato paste and mushrooms. Bring to a boil; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. , Combine the spinach, noodles, eggs, bread crumbs and cheddar cheese; place half in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Top with half of meat sauce. Repeat layers. , Cover and bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese; let stand for 10 minutes.

Steps:
- preheat oven to 350.
- brown meat with garlic& onions.
- drain.
- mix all ingredients except sauce in a large bowl.
- cover bottom of a 13 x 9 baking dish with spaghetti sauce.
- add macaroni mixture to baking dish.
- cover with the remaining sauce.
- might want to serve with extra sauce- mixture tends to absorb sauce while cooking.
- bake for 30 min at 350.

I worked all week on this one.I tried to put a twist on the pasta for my kids. They loved it and had no idea they were eatten spinach!

- 1. Brown 1st 3 ingredients in large skillet. Cook spinach using package directions. Drain , reserving liquid. add water to make 1 cup. Add spinach liquid and next five ingrdients to meat mixture. Simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach with macaroni and remaining ingredients: spread in 13 x 9 in backing dish. Top with meat sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. serves 8 to 10

This is my mother-in-law's recipe. Everytime we have company she is requested to make this.

Steps:
- Cook spinach according to package directions - drain, reserving liquid. Add water to make 1 cup liquid. Set aside.
- Brown meat, onion and garlic in 1 Tbls oil.
- Stir spinach liquid, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper into meat mixture and simmer 10 minutes.
- Combine spinach, cooked macaroni, cheese, eggs, and 1/4 c oil.
- Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray and spread the spinach mixture on the bottom. Spread the meat mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes.
