HOW TO FREEZE CARROTS

Steps:
- Wash and peel carrots. Start pan of water of water for boiling.
- Leave small carrots whole.
- Cut others into 3/4 inch cubes, thin slices, or lengthwise strips.
- For whole carrots, blanch in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- For diced or sliced carrots, blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes.
- For carrot strips, blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes.
- Place in container for freezing and freeze.

- Cut the carrots into small slices. So you can prepare them immediately when you take them out of the freezer.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the carrots to it, boil them for 3 minutes. Meanwhile, put ice in a bowl for a water bath.
- Immediately transfer the carrots to a bowl of ice. Drain carrots with a paper towel or clean towel. Place carrot slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
