Steps:
- Cook 12 ounces wide egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente. Transfer 1/4 cup cooking water to a skillet. Stir in 4 tablespoons butter, one at a time. Add some chopped parsley and/or dill, a squeeze of lemon juice, and salt and pepper. Drain the noodles and toss with the sauce.

- Cook the noodles: Heat 2 quarts of water with 1 tablespoon kosher salt in a large pot on high heat until boiling. Add the egg noodles. Cook for 5 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking liquid and drain the noodles.
- Add the butter, cheese, parsley: Place the drained hot noodles in a large bowl. Add the butter and Parmesan and stir until the butter has melted. Stir in a tablespoon or two of the pasta cooking water. Stir in the chopped parsley. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

- Bring water, 2 boullion cubes and 1/2 stick of butter to boil using med to high heat.
- Add egg noodles.
- Cook until noodles are desired texture.
- (About 6-8 minutes) During last minute of cooking add remaining 1/2 stick of butter.
- (You may add additional butter if desired. Also you may use 1 can of chicken broth instead of bullion. I suggest using bullion).

- In a small bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in center; add eggs. Stir together, forming a dough. , Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead 5-6 minutes. Divide dough in half. - Add 1 ½ bullion cubes to ½ gallon water in a medium pot, bring to a boil. Add noodles and set timer for 1 min longer than the longest time listed on the package, stir a couple of times while cooking. While noodles are boiling add 1/2 cup water, 1/2 chicken bullion cube and butter to glass measuring cup. Microwave for 45 seconds on high, Stir. If the butter is not melted all the way microwave again for 30 seconds and mix well until bullion is dissolved. When noodles are done drain water from pot but do not rinse, add butter mixture and parsley. Mix well until most liquid is absorbed, about a minute. Serve immediately with crushed Ritz crackers on top.
